One crisp fall morning, I embarked up 101 and met justin and denise at stanford university for this epic fall engagement session. Denise is a stylist for photoshoots and she brought her A game for this shoot! I love her style and her work. It was fun exploring stanford and all the beautiful backdrops that it has to offer. Their wedding is in may and we are super stoked for getting to shoot at the Winchester Mystery house!
On a unusually warm fall day, Tim and Jessie were married at the beautiful Santa Margarita Ranch. The weather couldn’t be more perfect, the hills were starting to turn green and the trees were still sporting their brilliant fall hue. Their wedding was adorned by super awesome hand made goodies from pin wheels and flags to grandmas peach jelly! And the finishing touch were their close friends and family in attendance. It was truly an amazing day.

I don’t know where to start really. I was seriously blown away at Justin and Lauren’s, epic wedding day in Montecito, California. Necia and I had such a seriously rad time that words escape me. So I will keep this brief and let my images do the talking. Ariel of Ariel Yve Designs worked with Lauren to help plan and coordinated the whole day. My Lovely wife aka Umbrella Tree Design created the invites, menu, hand crafted escort cards and table numbers. The ceremony was at the beautiful Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montecito and the reception was at the incredible Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. Just so you know, we are SUPER stoked for this couple. j+n
My friend Andy and the love of his life are getting married. Andy is a bible study mate and Jess is a fellow photographer. I took a few frames of their awesomeness. Get ready, set, Go!!!

Last month, I got to work with More Than Fabulous Events at the Dana Powers House for Chris and Heidi’s super fresh Fall wedding. Chris and Heidi are LA locals and Chris is a Helicopter test pilot (super sweet!) and Heidi is going to be a new mom! More Than Fab did such a rad job pulling all the little details together. Tim and Jessie are super rad to hang out with. About ten minutes into the shoot, I felt like I was kickin’ it with good friends from way back in the day. We spent the time exploring new areas, chatting with on lookers and engaging in straight up tomfoolery. They met on a mission’s trip to Thailand through their church ,The Well in Fresno. He is a farmer and she is a teacher. I am really stoked for this couple. They shall be my last wedding of 2011 in November at the Santa Margarita Ranch. Stay Tuned.
Tim and Diane are wild, crazy, fun people to know. Their activities often include Fly fishing, RV-ing (yes you heard me right) and dog shows. Diane is a natural beauty and Tim is the grown up equivalent of a class clown and together things go from good to awesome! It was rad spending the weekend with them from the rehearsal dinner at the Madonna Inn, to the Epic wedding day at the Dolphin Bay Inn, and ending with a scrumptious oceanside brunch in Avlia Beach. The ladies from the Queens Bees dolled up Diane and the girls while Panacea Flowers bling-a-fied the whole place with their wonderful blooms. Necia and I got to work alongside a talented team of videographers strait from hawaii by the name of ARIA Studios. Finally Kramer weddings and The Photobooth Experience kept the party flowing into the night. Shooting at shell beach is aways a pleasure, not only do we get to spend the day in a swanky hotel but I get to take the couple down to shell beach for an amazing golden hour of epiciness sundown sess.
